She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wright and Ruth Wright; her husband Paul Owens; her daughter Diana Harris; her brothers, John Wright Jr. and Otis Wright; and her grandson Paul Lockett Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tony Lockett (Towona), Debra Lockett, Paul Lockett (Shelly) and Michael Owens; and her grandchildren, Alex Lockett, Diana Lockett, David Harris, Dinah Yamale, Dawn Leak, Quentin Johnson, Mark Lockett, Danielle Lockett, Nicklaus Lockett and Sierra Lockett. She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Shawnee Chapel. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
