She was predeceased by: her former husband Melvin G. Gertz. She is survived by: her children, Melvin T. Gertz (Connie Greathouse Gertz), Linda Reinel (Steve), Julie Gertz, Richard Gertz (Mary Lee), Tamson Lane (Randy), Mary Lichtenberg (James) and Joseph Gertz (Sharon Koenig Gertz); and her husband Mel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
