He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Mary May McCane (Clark); his wife Betty McCane (Steinhaus); and his granddaughter Allison Crawford. He is survived by: his children, Liz Underwood (John), Ted McCane (Shelly), Mary Pero (Mike), Peggy Wolfe, Tom McCane (Rachel), Mike McCane (Teena) and Patti Doyle (Craig); his brother Earl McCane; and his grandchildren, Ben (Erin), Krystal (Brice), Ted (Heather), Melissa, Stephanie (Mike), Michelle (Grant), Tina (Jon), Nikkita, Sierra, Tommy, Kayla, Emily, Steven, Hailey, Natalie (Vinnie), Michael, Kandyce (Danny), Jennifer (Brandon), Nikki, Matthew (Jackie), Chad and Lindsay (Jared). He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
