He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Hamblin and Martha Hamblin (Meadows); his stepfather J. C. Williams; his sisters, Irene Adams and Virginia Graves; his half-siblings, Osha Lee Smith Lay (Hamblin), Pauline Sutton Truesdell (Hamblin) and Bill Hamblin; his niece Bonnie Graves; and his nephew Michael Kieffer.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hamblin (Mason); his children, Kimberly Scott (Hamblin), Kevin Hamblin and Kraig Hamblin; and his sister June "Jean" Kieffer. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
