She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Leslie Ries and Maria Olive Ries; her husband William Grant Adams; and her sister Kathryn Bicher. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Waitkus (Patrick), Lori Adams and Connie Decker (Ed); and her grandchildren, Sean Waitkus, Maura Urbanija (Jason), Erin Waitkus and Aspen Decker. She is also survived by her other extended family and many dear friends she loved.
