We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2024, Ellen L Tschappat of Sharon Center, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ellen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ellen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bess Phillips and Boyd Phillips; and her significant other Douglas Tschappat. She was also cherished by two children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Portage Country Club (240 N Portage Path, Akron, OH 44303).
In lieu of flowers and if you are so inclined, plant a flower in your garden in her memory.
