He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Berger and Myrtle Rieger; his wife Elaine Berger; his children, Don Berger Jr. (Melanie), Nancy Groh (Doug), Peggy Lehmann (Doug) and Joe Berger (Ricki); his grandchildren, Victor (Karen), Michael (Melanie), John (Arlene), Jimmy (Lauren), Stephen, Thomas (Shay), Matthew Berger (Julie), Katie Berry (Sam), Elizabeth Wissel (Ben), Julia Brehm (Derek), Andrew (Amanda), Emily, Adam Groh, Elaina Truster (Cody), Cory (Jessica), Shawn Lehmann (Kristin), Leah Karwisch (Brian), Jesse, Luke Berger and Sara Pickering (Andy); and his sister Laverne Streittholt. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
