She was predeceased by: her father William Alphonso Hobson; her son Brandon Price; and her sister Sherlon B. Hall. She is survived by: her mother Geraldine Vivian Hobson; her husband Larry Goodrum; her daughters, Dr. Latia E. Phillips-Bey (Kumar) and Eboni D. Wheeler; her siblings, William A. Hobson (Pamela), Andre R. Hobson (Angel), Christopher T. McGlothan (Trudie), Terrence M. McGlothan and Monika Tatom (Mark); and her uncle Ronald Moss. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that everyone donates a bouquet of white flowers with a vase prior to the start of services, in honor of Sharon's passion for gardening.
