It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Lauren Grube (Shaker Heights, Ohio), who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Brian Grube and Amy Grube (Alden); her brothers, Samuel and Luke Grube; and her grandparents, Ray, Mollie Grube, Erick and Nancy Alden. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins; devoted friends.
Sarah also served as a Teaching Artist with New Haven's "Music in the Schools" program, embracing young musicians through hours of rehearsals and even providing virtual lessons from Ohio during COVID.
