With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rose Horvath (Shaker Heights, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sandor and Anna; her brother Marty; her friend Rose; her brother Joe; her husband Tony Horvath; her son-in-law Eric; her children, David Kiss (Sandra) of Mentor and Mary Slater (Eric) of Aurora; her stepchild Bela Sebestyen of Mentor, OH; her grandchildren, Michael, Alexandria Polinski, Alexander Nash and Tony Slater; and also, Michael and Alexandria.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Forward Funeral Home (17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Brown-Forward (17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Highland Park Cemetery (21400 Chagrin Blvd, Highland Hills, OH 44122). A reception was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Brown-Forward Funeral Home (17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120). She faced a long road to recovery during the Covid lockdowns and finally became well enough to leave facilities and live in her own home briefly before moving in with Mary.
