It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Alton McNew of Shaker Heights, Ohio, born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, V. H. McNew and Ethel Margaret McNew; and his sister Carol Thuesen. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Erin and Tracy McNew; his grandchildren, Devin, Calvin and Jocelin Arbenz; his brother Jim McNew; his brother-in-law Steven Paffilas; and his pets, Chessie and Casper. He is also survived by other in-laws, nieces, & nephews.
He served as president of the FBA Foundation, was the founding member of the Fellows program, and was president of the FBA Building Corporation.
