He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Gerhart and Anne Baker Gerhart; his daughter Ann; his wife Ann Tarbutton Gerhart; his children, Matt (Seleste Tai), Mary (James Gross), Margaret and Gracie; his grandchildren, Jesse, Michael, Jazmine and David Tai; his children, Ada, Teddy and Thomas Gross; his siblings, Anne (Larry Larrison), Rev. Andrew (Peggy) and Bruce (Valerie); and his cousins, Joan Baker-Gonzáles, Norman, Thomas W. Baker, Carl and Phillip Lambert. He was also cherished by 11 children and 20 (and counting) grandchildren.
