It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Layton M. Ives III of Shaker Heights, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patti; his parents, Layton and Katheryn; his siblings, Edward, Betty Ann West (Lynn) and Martin; his children, Jennifer Shaw and Layton "Denny" Ives; and also, McNair, Marjorie and Max.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown-Forward Funeral Home (17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Plymouth Church of Shaker Heights (2860 Coventry Rd, Shaker Heights, OH 44120).
His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be directed to Stand up to Cancer; http://www.standuptocancer.org; or Plymouth Church of Shaker Heights, 2860 Coventry Rd., Shaker Hts., OH 44120 where a funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 2nd at 11 am.
