It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Chambers of Shaker Heights, Ohio, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jenny Rozniak and Stephen Rozniak; her husband Dr. Frank Chambers; her children, Catherine Warrier (Kishore), Michelle Swearingen (Jason) and Stephen (Ami); her grandchildren, Helen, Cedric, Kavi, Kiran and Wesley; and her sister Dorothy Soares (Jim).
She received national awards from the AMATYC (American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges) and the ICTCM award for teaching excellence for her contributions to Community College Mathematics teaching.
