He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Distelhorst and Alice Distelhorst; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, David, Mark (Laura) and Karen Carter (Carl); and his grandchildren, Alice, Hannah, Joel Carter and Henry Distelhorst.
