He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Calinger; his sister Patricia "Peggy" Calinger; and his wife Louella "Lou" Calinger. He is survived by: his parent Mary Calinger (Blicha); his children, Carolyn White of Nashua, NH, Violet Taskaline (Butch) of Bellaire, OH and David Bonar (Karen) of Shadyside, OH; and his siblings, Walter (Monica) of Akron, OH, Ron (Betty) of Silver Springs, MD, Frank, Gregory Calinger of Shadyside, OH and Kathleen Fry (Gary) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
