With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edward Friend Sr. (Shadyside, Ohio), who passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel French Friend and Recca Friend (Hawkins); and his siblings, Daniel James Friend, Thelma Rinehart (James) and Shirley Sutton (Nolan).

He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Thomas (Melissa); his friend Mark (Beth); and his grandchildren, Rachel Hannahs, Jennifer Starkey, Kristin Fulton, Mark Friend, Danielle Friend, Ashley Garamella and Tyler Garamella. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
