With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marlyn C. Marling of Shadyside, Ohio, whose life came to an end on February 23, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Plate and Mary Elizabeth Druschel Fragale. She is survived by: her close friend Willow; her stepfather Dominick Fragale; her siblings, Samuel Plate, Donald Fragale, John Fragale and Sharon Shedore; her children, Tommy Marling of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Ron Marling (Jill) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Janean Christy (Lloyd) of Shadyside, Ohio and Beth Marling (Lisa Pacific) of Ranson; her siblings, Anthony Fragale (Brenda), Dan Fragale (Donna), Janet Rosenberry (Jim) and Jill Jebbia (Josh); and her grandchildren, Ronnie Marling, Ethan Matthews, Aidan Marling, Kayla Amato and Logan Barnes. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (350 E 40th St, Shadyside, OH 43947). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
