She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schwartz and Emeline Schwartz (Ewing); her former husbands, John Gaus and Clarence Ketterman; and her siblings, Peggy Webb, Lois Berry and Oscar Schwartz.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hudkins (Jim) of Moundsville, WV and David Gaus (Sandy) of Moundsville, WV; her stepdaughter Christine Dickerhoof (Ron) of Stow, OH.; and her sister Emeline Manning (Robert) of Glen Dale, WV. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
