It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Vitiello of Shadyside, Ohio, born in Benwood, West Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Vitiello and Anna Vitiello (Aprea); his siblings, Mary Ann Fonner and Guilard "Guy" Vitiello; and his wife Janet Vitiello (Cochran).

He is survived by: his children, Carla Tommasetti (Franco) of Orlando, FL, Joseph Mercer of Moundsville, WV. and John Vitiello of Moundsville, WV.; his pet Darcie; his stepchildren, Lisa Knox (Glen) and Jeff Harvath (Joan) of Wheeling, WV; and his sisters, Rosetta Tweedlie (Joe) of Benwood, WV and Sarah Appenzeller of Benwood, WV. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid face masks and social distancing will be required.
