He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Chase and Goldie Chase (Long); and his sister Patricia Mehlman. He is survived by: his former wife Georgia Deel (Boggs); his children, Tracey Carroll (Mike) of Oberlin and Marsha Chase of Williamsburg, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Katrina Chase, Kenneth Messina, Ashley Hembree, Samantha Hembree, Melissa Hembree, Messina and Alexis Travis; and his great grandchildren, Garrett, Jace, Morgan, Jaxson, Olivia, Jade and Scarlett.
Memorial contributions will benefit the American Legion of Shadyside, Ohio.
