He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Bennington Sr. and Almeda Yoho Bennington; his son Herbert "Fonz" Bennington III; his grandson Allan Garcia; and his siblings, Robert, Mable Fabrizo and Rose Bennington.
He is survived by: his wife Bertie Arn Bennington; his daughters, Wendy Stonebreaker (Paul) and Rhonda Willis (James); his sisters, Mary McGarry, Ruth Irwin and Shirley Angelo; his sister-in-law Darlene Bennington; his grandchildren, Herb, Herbert "Fonz", Haleigh, Hauna, Heather Bennington, Jessica, Jody Stonebreaker, Paul, Shaya Horn, Cheyenne Garcia, James Willis Jr. and Brandon Willis; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
