She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Festa and Lucy Festa (Espinosa); her husband Warren "Dirty Dan" C. Carpenter; her sons, Warren "Buzz" Carpenter and Roger Carpenter; her grandson Joshua "Josh" Carpenter; her close friend Robert Boyd; her siblings, Delores Festa Garcia and James Angelo Festa; and her half-sisters, Marcella Soto Bray and Marguerite Collins Soto Cuevas.
She is survived by: her friends, Rose Marling Grammar and Lorna Mason; her children, Sheryl Coleman, Garry Carpenter (Nancy), Tim Carpenter (Darla), Mardee Weeks (Jeff), Richard Carpenter (Barbara) and Leanne Carpenter; her sister-in-law Ruth Carpenter; and her nephew Jeff Festa. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
