He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Kuchinka and Mary Lokas Kuchinka; his wife Gilda O. "Judy" Aprea Kuchinka; and his siblings, Mary Kovack, Matthew and Joseph Kuchinka.

He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth Ryan of St. Clairsville, Rose Kopyar (Tom) of Cambridge and John Kuchinka (Donna) of Columbus, Ohio..
