Betty Jean Prebeg Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Prebeg of Shadyside, Ohio, born in Powhatan Point, Ohio, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Ault and Becky Morgan Ault; her husband Frank Prebeg; and her siblings, Marcelyn Setzer, Dale Ault and William Burkhart.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Prebeg of St. Clairsville, Rick Prebeg (Nina) of Columbus and Dana Garrison (Rich) of Wheeling; and her grandsons, Jay Prebeg and Matt Prebeg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Frank, Rick and Dana all our love and concern for you and yours. We were all talking about when we’d stay at Baba’s the best was always at your house. Aunt Betty’s dinosaur pancakes and the story of the bat in the basement and her putting on a football helmet to try and catch it. So many wonderful memories.
