He was predeceased by: his parents, Holley Ivan King and Mary Burson King; his brothers, Robert L. King, Danny King and Claire King; and his parents-in-law, James and Bernice Wines.
He is survived by: his wife Martina A. Wines King; his sons, Richard King of Pratts Fork, Randy King (Janelle) of Granville and Rodney King (Mindy) of Athens; his grandchildren, Kristy King, Ryan, Jarrett King, Brian Pomas (Sara) and Jamie Brooks; his brother Lloyd "Duck" King (Eva); and his sister-in-law Janet King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
