He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Darkow and Betty Darkow; and his siblings, Earl McQuillan, Dorothy Brand and Elsie Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Gabby); his children, Jeffrey Jones (Leigh Ann) and Kristin Kamerer (David); his grandchildren, Morgan and Logan LaTampa; his great grandchild Kynzleigh LaTampa; and his siblings, David Darkow (Karen) and Virginia Hunt (Fred). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Norman E. Darkow, 77, went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2023 at Sprenger Health Care Rose Lane Alzheimer/Dementia Care unit with his family by his side.
