It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Wanko (Seville, Ohio), born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Samuel, John, Annie, Mary, Julie, Joe and Paul.
He is survived by: his son James (Mary); his grandson Kenneth; his friend Irene McCoy; his parents, John Wanko and Anna Wanko; his son Merle Jr. (Ursula); and his daughter-in-law Pamela. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Jerusalem Lutheran Church 9282 Acme Road, Seville, OH 44273.
