He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Briggs; his brother Jerry Grove; and his son Jason Briggs. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda S. Douglas; his grandchildren, Carlina Briggs (Philip), Jonathan Briggs (Erica), Amos Walls, Serena Briggs and Malaika Douglas; and his nephew Scott Grove (Leigh).
A burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
