He is survived by: his children, Lorin Sharpe, Denise Stralka (Tim), Greg Sharpe (Shari), Marcy Massingill (David) and Susan McLaughlin (David); and his grandchildren, Vicki, Heather, Angela, Sarah, Tim, Daniel, Rachael Justin (Dan), Amanda (Shaun), Douglas (Evelyn) and Danny.

“Uncle George was the last of his 10 brothers and 2 sisters who were all raised in Ireland. He came to this country with his elder brother Jack in 1949. Served in Korea conflict in the early 1950’s. We fondly remember early family gatherings with Aunt Kaye – the mother of Lorin, Denise, Greg, and Marcy and later with Aunt Alice and Susan. He will be missed with those long ago happy memories where he played his guitar while Jack played his accordion. Love and sympathy to all he leaves behind”
