It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman F. Lucas (Senecaville, Ohio), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Leonard Lucas and Catherine Napier Lucas (Napier); his sister Elizabeth Detrick; his grandmother Napier; his nephew Robert Detrick; and his pets, Bobbie, Rudy, Jax and Buddy.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Lucas (Barriger); his children, Dorothy Catherine Yarberry (Mark) of Luttrell, TN and Jason Norman Lucas (Rachel) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Marissa Rachelle DeCoopman, Nicholas Foster DeCoopman and Aidan Robert Achiel DeCoopman; his great grandchildren, Leila Grace Cowley, Ava Ryan Cowley and Baby Boy DeCoopman; and his pets, Juju and Wonka.
Memorial donations may be made to the Senecaville Volunteer Fire Department, the Guernsey County Humane Society or to Hospice of Guernsey.
