He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Saltsman and Mary Saltsman (Clark); his wife Kathryn; his former wife Maxine Saltsman (Mummert); his stepdaughter Sandra Thayer; his stepgranddaughter Michelle Thayer; and his stepgreat-grandson Kody Thayer.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Cynthia Cunningham (Douglas) of Alliance and Donald Hume III (Candy) of Bangor, CA; his stepgrandchildren, Michael Cunningham, Amy Scott (Jason), Bill Hume, Donald Hume IV (Rachel), Emily Haidet (Doug), Amber Hume and Greg Thayer; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jake Scott, Ava Scott, Maddison Seison, Cody Hume, Madison Hume, Harley Hume, Devyn Hume, Levi Hume, Kaisyn Haidet and Adam Thayer.
