He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Zickefoose; his son Gale Zickefoose; and his parents, Encil Zickefoose and Mary Zickefoose (Crites). He is survived by: his children, Helen Read, Robert L. Zickefoose (Maryann), Carl Zickefoose (Franzie) and Marvin Zickefoose. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
