He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carpenter and Mabel Carpenter (Case); his former wife Elsie Price (Biles); his close friend Gene Lanhan; and his siblings, Barb, Juanita, Grace, Ellen, Neely, Perry, Shelby, Gene, Floyd and Hayward.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Little-John and Mark Carpenter; his daughter-in-law Kathy Carpenter; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dean's Funeral Home (256 W Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (264 S 12th St, Beloit, OH 44609).
