He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Crosby and Blanche Crosby; his wife Sarah K. Crosby; his son John Crosby; and his brother Richard Crosby.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. James Crosby (Joanne) of Vestal, Judith Ramsay (John) of Brackney, Jerold Crosby (Bethany) of Sandy and Rev. Jarvis Crosby (Sharon) of Toccoa, Georgia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
