He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis B. Woods and Della Woods (Wright); his children, Luanne Couts-Milbourn and Jay Lee Woods; his grandson Bryan Beetler; and his siblings, Wilma Visi, Willard Woods and Ronald Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Lucia Woods (Hunter); his children, Lynnette Beetler (Woods), Thomas Woods, James Traner (Jeannine) and Bill Traner; and his grandchildren, Shanna Grimes (Jeremy), Jayson Woods (Jennifer), Rindi Hartman (Derek), Blake Beetler (Alicia) and Christopher Traner (Ashlee). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
