He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo R. Burgess and Elizabeth Burgess (Kenney). He is survived by: his wife Joy Lee Burgess (Strecker); and his stepdaughters, Rhonda Hollinger and Jodene Porter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; three step-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.
