He was predeceased by: his parents, Vince Sanute and Angeline Sanute (Bruno). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Jamie E. Rice and Angela K. Ciecerko; and his brother Frank M. Ciecerko. He is also survived by several granddaughters, grandsons, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
