He is survived by: his wife Pamela Strong; his son Charles Strong; his stepsons, Randal Pugh and Brian Ballenger; and his siblings, Diane Pistole of Tennessee, Josie Steward of North Carolina, Melinda Hancock of Arizona, Glenn Strong of Ohio and Duane Strong of California.
