He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Mort and Eleanor Mort (Griffin); and his former wife Ginny L. Mort. He is survived by: his wife Lottie Mort (Palmer); his children, Lisa Dennis (Jeffrey) and Carl R. Mort III; his grandchildren, Cody, Lexi, Noah Dennis, Charles, Zoe and Brady Mort; and his sisters, Bonnie Greenamyer and Carol Oliver.
