He is survived by: his wife Shirley McElroy (Adams); his children, Staci Teli, Monica Magee, Anitra Teli, Telisha Mitchell, Sharel Ruthledge, Johnette Teli, Kevin Nicholson, Jason Campbell and Bernard T. McElroy III; his siblings, Margo Johnson and George Holloway (Tina); his close friends, Mike Ward, Gavelle Ford, James Smothers, Joe Justin and Byron Hatcher; and his sister Amanda Pugh. He is also survived by his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
