He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hayslip and Ida Hayslip (Price); his children, Tammy Jones and Thomas L. Hayslip, Jr.; his grandson Zachary Richardson; his siblings, Ray Hayslip, J. B. Hayslip, Bobby Hayslip, Junior Hayslip and Gloria Jean Fenton; and his daughter-in-law Sheila Deatley.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Morrison (Neil) of West Union, Rita Kernodle of West Union, Beth Hayslip of Ocean View, Crystal James of Wilmington, Vickie Hayslip Barr of Manchester and Lloyd Hayslip (Angel) of West Union; his sisters, Ocie Bunch (Ron), Janet Risch (Joe) and Carol Salisbury (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Shelda Hayslip, Patty Hayslip and Denver Fenton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
