He was predeceased by: his parents, Leamon Mefford and Beatrice Mefford (Houston). He is survived by: his wife Laura "Rosie" Mefford (Glenn); his daughter Alicia Mefford of Seaman; his grandsons, Keith Mefford of Seaman, Eric Mefford (Heilery) of Seaman and Vernon Mefford of Seaman; and his siblings, Ronnie Mefford of Kentucky, Kenneth Mefford of Kentucky, Mildred Campbell of Indiana and Betty Burgett of Indiana. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
