She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Paul N. Godbey; and her brother Roy Emery. She is survived by: her children, Dr. William D. "Bill" Godbey (Jeanette "Sam") of Bay Minette, AL, Lois M. DeLaney (Leo) of Dalton, MA and Gayle J. Hall (Howard) of Mobile, AL; and her grandchildren, Sandra D. Godbey Sweet of Alexandria, VA, Gwendolyn Godbey Perry of Clear Springs, AL, Patrick C. DeLaney of Belcher Town, MA, Kevin M. DeLaney of Pittsfield, MA, Shaun T. DeLaney of Denver, CO, Jill D. Fore of Mobile, AL and Leslie E. Hall of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
