She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Barrett and Jessie Barrett (Young); her husband Lawrence Adams; and her children, Glenn Adams, Sherry Jordan and Priscilla Nixon.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Adams of Manchester, Rick Adams (Brenda) of Hamersville, Lora Williams (Eddie) of Seaman, Carrie Love of Seaman and Gwen Mathews (Chris) of West Union; and her sisters, Reba Henderson of Indiana and Betsy King of Peebles. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and a great, great-grandchild.
