He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Storer and Elizabeth Storer (Purtee); and his son James Guy Storer, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jill Storer of West Virginia, Jamie Chase of Kentucky, Ashley Case (Clinton) of Peebles, Crystal Ruggles (Rickey) of West Union and Bobby Cook of Seaman; his significant other Rozetta "Rosie" Cook; and his brothers, Dale Storer of Cedar Mills and Rick Storer of Cedar Mills. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
