She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jefferson Smalley and Nellie Madge Smalley (Lytle); her husband William Earl Brownlee; her siblings, Mildred Cobbler, Mary Edith Ryan, Ann Foster, Alberta Johnson, Henry Smalley, Forest Smalley, Richard Smalley and Kenneth Smalley; and her friend Karen Steele.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Knoblauch (Kirk) of Wilmington and Jennifer Parrott (Josh) of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Beth Klaene (Josh) of Boston, MA, Lindsay Rokicki (Brad) of Cincinnati, Claire Stirsman of Cincinnati and Lydia Gwen-Marie Parrott of Cincinnati; her great grandchildren, Reznor, Wyatt, Layla and Henry; and her brother Blanchard Paul Smalley of Maryland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
