He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Raines and Belva Raines; his son Terry Raines; his grandson Scotty Raines; and his siblings, Mabel Vance, Ethel Baker, Hazel Kelley, Edgar, Von, Roy, Homer, Leon and John Raines.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Zimmerman Raines; his sons, Pat Raines (Brenda) and Gerry Raines (Janet); and his sisters, Darlene Doyle and Josephine Wilmoth. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
