He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McElwee, and Pauline McElwee, Sr. (Montgomery); and his brother John McElwee. He is survived by: his wife Karen McElwee (Schwartz); his children, Scott McElwee (Lina) of Villa Hills, Nathan McElwee (Tralina) of Waynesville, Kara Juillerat (Klayton) of Winchester and Amber Michael (Josh) of Lynchburg; his brother Doug McElwee of Bainbridge; and his half-siblings, Bradley, Brian, Brent McElwee and Lisa McElwee. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
