He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Wayne Carter and Kristie Carter (Fender). He is survived by: his brothers, Michael Wayne Carter II (Renea) of Waynesboro and Charles "Chuck" Carter of Peebles. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
